Cable Too Concentrated, Stifles Creativity and Independent Voices, CCVM and Coalition Tell FCC

A coalition including CCVM, Consumers Union, Media Access Project, Consumer Federation of America, the Center for Digital Democracy, and other concerned groups filed comments with the FCC today documenting the lack of competition in cable television distribution and the resulting harm to creativity and diversity of viewpoints and voices.

Accompanying the filing was "The Failure of Cable Deregulation," a 90 page report written by Jay Halfon, President, NY PIRG, for the US Public Interest Research Group.
