Rather than agree with Sen. Ted Stevens that FCC broadcast indecency regs should extend to cable and satellite, CCVM and the Parents Television Council agreed in a CNBC debate that a far preferable solution would be to give consumers the right to pick and choose what cable channels they want, rather than eat the broadcasters' and cable companies' "packages," larded with channels that offend them.
